Hotel Excelsior Dubrovnik – Vintage Luggage Label
The latest addition to my collection of vintage luggage labels of Croatia is this jolly Hotel Excelsior label, printed in 1950’s.
The composition of the image is very attractive and visually eye pleasing – the Excelsior’s lovely yellow ocher facade in foreground with image of Dubrovnik’s Old Town in the background. A simple shapes of cypress trees also add to the pleasure.
The hotel is a local landmark, located just 5 minutes walk from Dubrovnik’s Old Town. It has its own private beach (Banje Beach) and magnificent views over the town walls.
