Rallye Adriatique & Dubrovnik

In August 1952 roads along Adriatic coast were used as part of Rallye Adriatique  – an international motor-sport event route.

As Dubrovnik was already well known tourist destination, this poster advert (published in the same year) features image of Dubrovnik Old Town chosen as the only recognizable location in the whole area, with drawing of the Old Town in the heart of the picture.   Lovely poster 🙂
