Video ‘Dubrovnik and Time’ Wins Bronze Medal at 2016 New York Festival of International TV & Film Awards

The Dubrovnik Tourist Board announced that it was presented with a Bronze World Medal at the 2016 New York Festival of International Television & Film Gala last night in Las Vegas, Nevada. “Dubrovnik and Time,” a beautifully shot short video produced by Balduci film, showcasing the sights of the city, was chosen among entries from 50 countries by an esteemed international panel of judges.

“This year’s awards presented strong competition and we’re thrilled to be recognized for showcasing the richness that Dubrovnik and our country offers visitors,” said Romana Vlasic, Director of Dubrovnik Tourism Board. “We love every opportunity to tell the story that Croatia is an unspoiled, beautiful part of the European Mediterranean region with a multitude of cultural, history and natural beauty.”

The 2016 TV & Film award-winners were announced at the annual NAB Show on April 19th in Las Vegas. New York Festivals Television & Film Awards celebrated the 2016 World’s Best TV & Films and also presented their Lifetime Achievement Award, Broadcaster of the Year, Production Company of the Year, and United Nations Department of Public Information Award.

In March 2016 the video was also awarded the Silver Medal at the ITB Tourism Fair in Berlin, an important travel market in Europe, where it prevailed over 1,500 film submissions from the forty different countries that officially entered the competition.
