  We are visiting Dubrovnik for a week the first week of April this year.

  We were hoping to take a trip to Mljet from Dubrovnik for part of a days, but can not seem to find a ferry that runs.

  Are there any ferries that run from Dubrovnik to Mljet island, to any port, in the first week of April?

  Yes there is daily ferry from Dubrovnik via Luka Šipanska to Sobra (Mljet), departs Dubrovnik 14:30, Luka Šipanska 15:20 and arrives in Sobra (Mljet) at 15:50. Going back to Dubrovnik following morning at 06:30

  Adam, in the first week of April you have two options for a day trip to Mljet: either book pre-arranged tour or drive to Prapratno and get a ferry from there.
  Maybe you can consider overnight on Mljet?
