Cruise ship schedule for Dubrovnik (1934)

Here is a Cruise ship schedule for Dubrovnik from 1934 that was published for the third Meditteranean cruise of General Von Steuben cruise ship, that arrived in Dubrovnik, Gruz port (Gravosa) on the 08.04.1934 at 09:00 hrs.

The cruise was run by Norddeutscher Lloyd (NDL) (North German Lloyd) which was a German shipping company founded in Bremen in the mid-1800s.

After Dubrovnik, the cruiser sailed to Kotor (Cattaro) and Corfu, with departure at 18:00.  The ship schedule also shows recommendation for popular Dubrovnik’s sights, hotels and restaurants. It also has a handy visitors map to Old town and Gruz area. The approximate prices for public transport tickets from Gruz to the Old Town are also shown.

General von Steuben, a passenger liner built in 1923, was later a troop accommodation and an armed transport ship of the German Navy. It was sunk during the second WW (1945) by Soviet submarine.
