I am arriving at Dubrovnik airport in August and plan to take a bus to the old town.

Do they accept credit or debit cards for ticket purchases?

If not, can I buy tickets using Euro?

Or should I get Kuna (HRK) at an ATM at the airport?

Is the exchange rate better in town?

    Thank you for your help!

The easiest way to purchase your bus ticket from the airport to old town is to take some cash from ATM machine at the airport and pay your bus ticket in cash – kuna to driver. Euro is not accepted. The exchange rate is the same anywhere you go as it depends of your bank exchange rate, not of the specific ATM machine.

Yes take some cash at ATM that is the best.

    UPDATE:

or just buy your ticket online so no cash involved.

You can buy bus tickets here: https://www.ticket.platanus.hr/?l=en

The Euro is now an official currency in Croatia.

Thank you for the feedback; just what I was looking for.

I went to the site and see where it asks for a date. Here I will enter our airline arrival date. But what if the airline encounters problems and we do not arrive until the next day or even later.

Is this ticket purchased online good for any date subsequent to the date of arrival that I entered?

I just checked here: https://platanus.hr/shuttle-bus/ and it says the bus is leaving 30 minutes after every flight.
    From Airport to Dubrovnik
Bus leaves about 30 minutes after every flight.
